DESCRIPTION:The Alabama/NW Florida Chapter of the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation (CCFA) is proud to present the 4th Annual Casino for a Cause at Regions Field on Wednesday\, November 5\, 2014. Proceeds from Casino for Cause will support CCFA mission critical research initiatives\, education programs\, Camp Oasis and additional support services for Alabamians living with Crohn's Disease and ulcerative colitis. General admission to Casino for a Cause includes heavy hors d'oeuvres\, drinks\, silent auction\, music and a great prizes. Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis are painful illnesses that attack the digestive system. Symptoms may include persistent pain\, fever and weight loss\, and many patients require hospitalization and surgery. Approximately 1.4 million American adults and children suffer from Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis\; most develop symptoms between the ages of 15 and 35. To date\, there is no known cure.
