DESCRIPTION:Greater Shelby Chamber Membership Program Featuring State Superintendent Dr. Tommy Bice\, State Superintendent of the Alabama Department of Education\n\n\n\nThe July Membership Luncheon\, hosted by the Education Work Group and sponsored by Legacy Community Federal Credit Union\, will feature a presentation by Dr. Tommy Bice\, State Superintendent of the Alabama Department of Education. Dr. Bice will focus on the importance that all Shelby County students are adequately prepared in our K-12 classrooms to succeed in their pursuit of higher education and/ or to enter our modern workforce through Alabama's College and Career Ready Standards.\n\n\n\nThe luncheon will be held from 11:00AM until 1:00PM on July 30 at the Pelham Civic Complex and Ice Arena\, 500 Amphitheater Road\, Pelham. Investment is $20 members\, $30 "Future" members.  Reservations are requested by noon on Monday\, July 28.  Register by calling the Chamber at 663-4542\, email info@shelbychamber.org or use online registration by clicking the Register Now button at top of page.\n\n\n\nThe Showcase Feature\, held during networking\, will feature organizations engaged in Educational Programs and activities during the mini-expo.
