DESCRIPTION:Greater Shelby Chamber "Ready to Shred"\n\n(A Recycling Day Event April 22)\n\n\n\nKeeping It Clean & Green in 2016!\n\n \n\n\nThe Greater Shelby County Chamber of Commerce's Existing Business & Industry Work Group is holding its first "Ready to Shred" Recycling Day from 10:00AM until 2:00PM on April 22. The event\, sponsored in 2016 by Gone For Good Document & E-Waste Solutions\, encourages safe and secure recycling of items. The host for our Recycling Day event is the Pelham Civic Complex & Ice Arena\, 500 Amphitheater Road\, Pelham. There will be an area in the parking lot designated for drop off of items.\n\n\n\nThe Work Group is planning to have an on-site mobile truck for document destruction* and E-Waste recycling drop off area**. Below are items that are acceptable E-Waste items:\n\n\n\n     Computers and electronics\n\n     Batteries\n\n     Cell phones\n\n     Communications equipment\n\n     Computers\n\n     DVD players\n\n     Household appliances\n\n     Laptops\n\n     Miscellaneous electronics\n\n     Miscellaneous office machines\n\n     PDAs or handheld games\n\n     Printers\n\n     Servers\, routers or hubs\n\n     Stereo and audio components\n\n     VCRs\n\n\n\n* Limit of 3-4 "Banker Boxes" of paper items\n\nLimit 3-4 lawn/leaf bags of acceptable recyclables\n\nLimit 3-4 medium plastic storage bins of acceptable recyclables\n\n\n\n**We are unable to accept:\n\nTVs\n\nComputer Monitors\n\n\n\nThere is no cost to drop off your documents or recyclable items within the above parameters.\n\n\n\nFor more information on this event\, and/ or vendor information\, contact Payton Thomas\, Manager\, Business Development & Support\, 663-4542\, ext. 105 or payton@shelbychamber.org.
