DESCRIPTION:"An Update on Shelby County's University - The University of Montevallo"\n \n\nFrom its humble beginnings in 1896\, the University of Montevallo has become a leading institution of higher learning in the state and region and is nationally recognized as a model for quality and affordability in higher education.\n\n\n\nDr. Courtney Bentley\, the University's Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs\, will be the featured speaker for the Chamber's March "Community Luncheon" scheduled for Wednesday\, March 19. Dr. Bentley will provide an update on "Shelby County's University".\n\n\n\nThe cost for Chamber investors is $25 per person\, and $35 per person for "Future" investors.  To assist with proper planning\, reservations are requested by no later than Noon on Friday\, March 14.\n\n\n\nThere is also an opportunity for up to 10 Chamber investors to have a Showcase Feature Table at this Luncheon for $60 which includes the table and two registrations.
