DESCRIPTION:Shelby Ridge Rehab Select would like to announce the expansion of our Rehabilitation Service Program. Rehab Select at Shelby Ridge is a sub-acute facility located on 881 3rd Street N.E behind Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster. Building on a more than 25-year tradition of excellence\, Rehab Select at Shelby Ridge provides residents not only with the highest quality nursing and clinical care\, but also unparalleled quality of life. We offer state of the art rehabilitation services as well as long term care. Unlike many facilities\, here at Shelby Ridge\, we are able to offer residents physical\, occupational and speech therapy up to seven days a week\, for up to three hours a day\, as ordered by the resident's physician. We are proud to have Dr. Lawrence Lee as our Medical Director for over ten years\, Dr. Everitt Simmons specializing in Wound Care\, Dr. Lloyd Simmons specializing in Orthopaedic Surgery\, Dr. William Rogers specializing in Rehabilitation Medicine\, Dr. Michael Remillard and Dr. Donald Preslar.  Our Physicians practice care in specialty and subspecialty areas offering a variety of patients services. Services may include: medical rehabilitation\, orthopaedic rehabilitation\, cardiac rehabilitation\, wound care\, and nutritional IV and Infusion therapy. We are proud to introduce complete in-house Swallowing Studies\, Total parenteral nutrition (TPN)\, and Wound Care as an expansion of our services.  These are just a few of the factors that have made Rehab Select the gold standard in rehabilitation in the communities we serve.
