DESCRIPTION:Statewide High School Student Art Competition/Exhibit co-hosted by Shelby County Arts Council and University of Montevallo.   Opening Reception\, Sunday\, November 4\, 2012 from 2pm-4pm at the SCAC Gallery in Columbiana\, Al.  Awards for Best of Show and Category entries will be presented at the opening.  A $500 scholarship to an exhibiting Senior will be presented at the closing reception at University of Montevallo on Saturday\, December 8\, 2012. \n\n\n\n100 pieces of artwork from students as near as Shelby County High School and as far away at Mobile to the south and Florence to the North are included in the show.\n\n\n\nExhibit sponsor are  Regions Bank\, Alabama State Council on the Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts.
