April 5. The event\, sponsored in 2019 by Gone For Good Document & E-Waste Solutions\, encourages safe and secure recycling of items. The host for our Recycling Day event is the Pelham Civic Complex & Ice Arena\, 500 Amphitheater Road\, Pelham. There will be an area in the parking lot designated for drop off of items.\n\n\n\nThe Work Group is planning to have an on-site mobile truck for document destruction* and E-Waste recycling drop off area**.\n\n\n\nBelow are items that are acceptable E-Waste items:\n\nComputers/Laptops \n\nCell Phones/PDAs \n\nDVD Players/VCRs \n\nLaptops \n\nCommunications Equipment \n\nOffice Machines \n\nPrinters \n\nStereos\n\nServers/Routers\n\nTVs and Monitors (FLAT SCREEN ONLY)\n\n\n Limit of 3-4 "Banker Boxes" of paper items\n Limit 3-4 lawn/leaf bags of acceptable recyclables\n Limit 3-4 medium plastic storage bins of acceptable recyclables\n\n\n\nWe are unable to accept:\n\nTubed TVs \n\nTubed Computer Monitors \n\nBatteries\n\nRefrigerators \n\n\n\n\n\nThere is no cost to drop off your documents or recyclable items within the above parameters.\n\n\n\nFor more information on this event\, and/ or vendor information\, contact Jackson Pruett\, 663-4542\, ext. 104 or jackson@shelbychamber.org.
