DESCRIPTION:The Shelby County Chamber Community Luncheon "Developing Alabama's Workforce with Ed Castile" \n \n\nThe Chamber's March Community Luncheon will feature a presentation titled "Developing Alabama's Workforce" featuring Ed Castile\, Alabama Deputy Secretary of Commerce\, Workforce Development Division on Wednesday March 20th. The meeting\, presented by SouthWest Water and co-sponsored by Renasant Bank\, will be held in the banquet hall at the Pelham Civic Complex & Ice Arena.\n\n\n\nDoors will open at 11:00AM for business networking\, hot buffet at 11:30AM and the program will begin promptly at n\n\noon. The program will conclude at 1:00PM.\n\n\n\n\n\nIn addition to the great business networking\, we'll also hear from Ed Castile about the state of Alabama's workforce development initiatives. With record low unemployment and the changing skill needs\, the importance of a cutting-edge workforce development system is more critical than ever. \n\n\n\nThe cost is $20 per person for Chamber investors and $30 per person for "Future" investors and includes a luncheon buffet.
