This year marks the 19th anniversary, that’s right, 19th anniversary of the GREATER Shelby County Chamber’s premiere Annual Golf Classic!

The 2008 Annual Golf Classic is scheduled to be held on Thursday, October 2nd at Ballantrae Golf Club, 1300 Ballantrae Drive, Pelham.  We are offering your choice of an 8:00 a.m. Shotgun Start or a 1:00 p.m. Shotgun Start.

Our tournaments have a renowned reputation.  Golf enthusiasts have grown accustomed to our tradition of enjoying GREATER food and beverages, door prizes, contest holes, and grand finale winners’ ceremony for each tournament of play!  Check out some the scenes from last year’s tournament:  18th Annual Golf Classic Slideshow.

You don’t have to be a golfer to participate in the our Annual Golf Classic!  Our tournament offers affordable and unique opportunities of sponsorships that range from an interactive tee or green to being a title sponsor.  Depending on the sponsorship you choose, you may have up to two company representatives (bring a couple of comfortable chairs) marketing your business with promotional items by networking with the golfers on an interactive tee or green or having center stage to announce the winners of your sponsored contest.  Whatever you choose, you'll have a captive audience of golfers, volunteers, and sponsors ~ up to 200 people!  There’s something GREATER for everyone!

Registration includes:  Round of golf, cart, food and beverages, all contest holes (closest to the pin, longest drive, straightest drive, multiple hole-in-one contests, putting) mulligan, golfer gift, and door prizes galore.
