2nd Annual "An Oak Mountain Christmas" featuring award-winning OMHS Bands

2^nd Annual “An Oak Mountain Christmas” coming to Alabama Theatre Dec. 9
 
The 2^nd Annual “An Oak Mountain Christmas,” featuring the award-winning Bands of Oak Mountain with special guest Carrie Tillis, will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, December 9 at the historic Alabama Theater. Doors open at 6 p.m.

This family-friendly evening will feature Tillis, daughter of country music legend Mel Tillis and sister of superstar Pam Tillis. Carrie Tillis is an internationally-known vocalist with an incredible range of music styles, from opera and Broadway musical theatre to classic country and standards.

Tillis is known for standout performances, which includes standing ovations for her rendition of “O Holy Night” that will be performed at this special event. She has worked with singers, musicians and conductors worldwide.

Tillis will perform a range of music with Oak Mountain High School’s nationally-recognized jazz, symphonic and wind ensemble bands. This special evening also will include music before the show by the Alabama’s “Mighty Wurlitzer” organ.

All seating is general admission. Tickets are $20 for adults and just $12 for kids 12 and under. Tickets are available from any OMHS band or visual student.
