Morgan Creek Announces Art in the Vineyards & Kick-Off to Annual Summer Concert Series

On Saturday, May 15, Morgan Creek will hold its first Art in the Vineyards fine arts and crafts show at its facility in Harpersville, AL. Artisans will display their works from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. while acoustic artists, including Stuart McNair and Mike Creager, perform. Art Bacon, Donna Branch, Becky Crisswell, Troy Crisswell, Mary-Jean Henke, Bill Palmer, Toni Palmer, Nelson Grice and Chris Clark are slated to show. At 7:00 p.m., FisherGreen takes the stage to kick off Morgan Creek’s annual Music & Fireworks summer concert series. Morgan Creek events are $10/person, family-friendly and include parking, a complimentary winery tour and tasting, live music and spectacular fireworks. Other summer concert dates are June 19, July 3 and August 14.
About the Company: Morgan Creek Vineyards in Harpersville, AL is a family-owned and operated vineyard specializing in Southern varietals of wine. All of the wines are produced from muscadines, a grape native to the South, or fruits, such as blueberry and peach. There are 11 different wines ranging from dry to semi-sweet to sweet. A portion of proceeds from the sale of Vulcan Red and Red Mountain Red wines benefit local foundations. Morgan Creek is also host to numerous events throughout the year, including our summer Music & Fireworks shows, a Grape Stomp, holiday open houses as well as weddings and other private functions. Free tours and tastings are offered Monday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Morgan Creek.
