The Bicycle on Parade project is a public art exhibit conceptualized and directed by the Shelby County Arts Council in conjunction with the Leadership Shelby County Class of 2008. Bicycles on Parade is an exciting opportunity for businesses, schools, churches, organizations, and individuals to create unique works of art using bicycles as the canvas. Bicycles represent the great quality of life we enjoy in Shelby County. The bicycle art will be displayed in front of businesses, schools, churches and homes for all to enjoy!

• Emphasize that the arts can strengthen the sense of community within our county

Organizational Information
Shelby County Arts Council is proud to be the administrator and organizer of Bicycles on Parade. SCAC operates and maintains a non-profit exhibition and education space in Columbiana at 104 Mildred Street. The Arts Council is committed to promoting the growth of visual and performing arts and arts opportunities in Shelby County. The Arts Council has served the community since 2005. The Shelby County Arts Council is a 501c3 not for profit organization.
