Cafe Lazio is celebrating its second anniversary in the Patton Creek shopping area with a parking lot "Block Party" on Saturday, October 17th from 3PM-Midnight.

 

Live music, great food specials, prizes and giveaways. Football games will be shown on the big screen on the patio.

 

$2 Slices of pizza, $2 Domestic Beer, $2 off wine and spirits, and half off bottles of wine to mark the occasion.

 

In addition, live music by Joe Breckenridge (3:00-6:00pm) Hospitality (6:30-9:00pm) and Beyond Means (9:15-midnight) will be staged on the patio.

"We are happy to be celebrating our 2 year anniversary in Patton Creek, and we’re excited to offer gift bags and prizes donated from our neighbors," says Marketing and Promotions Coordinator Meghan Burke. Among the items being donated are a gift basket from Crave Chocolatier, gift cards from Kicks Shoes Hoover, four tickets to RAVE movie theater, and the grand prize: four tickets to any BJCC event in the coming year. Additionally, Cafe Lazio will be giving away t-shirts and giftcards to guests.

 

Family friendly events during the day include a moonbounce, facepainting, trivia (with prizes), and a cornhole/bean bag toss. Large screen TVs will be set up outside showing football games throughout the event.

 

"We wanted to throw a party for everyone in the community that has supported us," says Cafe Lazio manager John Hendricks. "These past two years have been outstanding, and we’ve worked hard to create an inviting, family-friendly atmosphere serving authentic Italian food and pizza. We look forward to serving our friends for years to come."
