You’re invited to join hands on September 18th with Texas Roadhouse and WERC, to support Kid One Transport. Texas Roadhouse will be hosting a Celebrity Waiter Night featuring Birmingham’s best local celebrities.

By joining us on this special night, you are contributing to Kid One Transport and helping raise necessary money to transport children and expectant mothers to doctors appointments, while being entertained by familiar faces of our community.  We are hoping to raise $10,000 over the entire month to present a significant amount to Kid One on October 1st, 2008.

All proceeds (including tips, donations, and 10% of the sales) from this event will benefit Kid One Transport.  Kid One Transport is a transportation service for children and expecting mothers to and from doctors visits that wouldn’t otherwise have transportation. With the gas prices the way they are right now, this nonprofit organization is really struggling to make ends meet but they refuse to turn away anyone who needs this service.
