Shelby County Volunteer drivers are needed to transport older adults to:

- Doctor visits

- Grocery store

- Pharmacy

- non-emergency trips

 

Connecting a caring community to enhance the lives of seniors in Shelby County.

 

NetWorks is a creative partnership between the Middle Alabama Area Agency on Aging, United Way of Central Alabama, and Positive Maturity, Inc.'s RSVP Program to meet the needs of seniors through volunteerism. Based on United Way's Senior Needs Assessment for Central Alabama, Shelby County seniors needed support to maintain independence in their homes and enhance their quality of life. There are no obligations for you to transport seniors in Shelby County if you attend this training.
