Family Eye Care of Helena is a full scope optometry practice serving Helena and the surrounding areas.  They have a huge selection of eyeglass frames, sunglasses, prescription lenses, and safety frames that meet ANSI standards.  At Family Eye Care of Helena they are able to fit the majority of contact lenses.  Services include:  evaluations and treatment of glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration, low vision, developmental vision problems, and comprehensive eye examinations for all ages.  For more than two years, Family Eye Care of Helena has been providing eye care for nursing home patients.

Dr. Schifanella, O.D., completed his undergraduate work at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.  He received his optometry degree from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma in 2002, and completed a residency at the Muskogee Veterans Administration Medical Center in Muskogee, Oklahoma in June of 2003. In January of 2004, he opened his private practice, Family Eye Care of Helena.

Focus Meetings are informal networking events sponsored by various member businesses. Each month meetings are held, on a rotating basis, at various locations throughout the county.  The Chamber personally invites city officials, or a guest speaker of interest, to share with members the exciting news going on in that area.
