The Strategic Business Development initiative of THE PARTNERSHIP will host an HR Seminar on August 21st. The seminar will feature a panel of experts discussing current employment issues. A reception will follow the panel discussion.
 
David Mellon, Sirote & Permutt PC - Law 101
State and Federal Laws that Impact Your Business - will provide information about current federal and state laws as they relate to employers with 15 or fewer employees.
 

Ned Moore, Navistar International Transportation Corporation - Did You Make the Right Choice?
Understanding the Proposed New Employee Verification Act - will discuss the New Employee Verification Act, as well as preventing violence in the workplace.
 

Lisa McMahon, Warren, Averett, Kimbrough & Marino LLC - Payroll Pandemonium
Understanding the Employer’s Basic Responsibilities - will discuss basic employer payroll responsibilities and requirements.

The seminar will be held on August 21st from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. at the offices of Warren, Averett, Kimbrough & Marino LLC, 2500 Acton Road, Birmingham. Attendees will receive CPE or CLE credits as appropriate.

RSVP is required by noon, August 18th.
Prepayment is required to attend.
