GSC ~ Monthly Membership Luncheon ~ Workforce Development

The Monthly Membership Luncheon will focus on Workforce Development issues in today’s market.  Our presenter will be Mr. Tim Wollerman.  Mr Wollerman is the Manager of Workforce Resources in the Workforce Issues Department of AARP.  He is responsible for developing solution’s based approaches to addressing aging workforce issues through the dissemination of employer best practices; research and employer outreach.  Mr. Wollerman’s efforts have been cited in business media including Fortune and Business Week. 

Prior to joining AARP, Wollerman held a variety of positions in social services, community development and public policy including Manager of Community Relations for the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and Director of Development and Community Relations for the Mid-Michigan Chapter of the American Red Cross.  

Wollerman received a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and received a Masters in Public Policy and Administration from Michigan State University.

The unique businesses from the City of Columbiana will be showcasing as the Spotlight City Feature beginning at 11 am in conjunction with networking prior to the seated program.
