Helena Market Days farmers market has it’s opening day this Saturday, May 16th. This is promising to be the start of another event that sets the City of Helena apart from the neighboring communities. The committee has been working hard on this event and we invite everyone to come down to the park on Saturday morning and see what the local growers have to offer. Each week the selection will change depending on what is available for the season.
Several local chefs have generously agreed to provide the market with chef demonstrations thru out the summer. We are excited by the names that we have to date. So far we have:
05/23 Chef Sue LeMieux from Fox Valley Restaurant
05/30 Chef George Sarris, The Fish Market:
06/06 Chef Etricia Williams, 122 Tree Lane
06/27 Chef Randall Baldwin of Highlands Bar & Grill
07/18 Chef Cliff Holt of Little Savannah
08/29 Professional Chef Steve Walton
And Chef Ben Tamburello of La Dolce Vita – Date and time to be determined.
PLEASE forward this email on to anyone and everyone that you think may be interested in fresh produce, breads, herbs, homemade soaps, etc! Also, please print out the flyer and post it in your store front window.
If you have any questions, please give me a call.
