Come out and see the House for a Cure Sunday, May 3, 2009, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Help others and get a house for one hundred dollars! The House for a Cure is giving away a house to raise money and awareness for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's donations are down this year due to the economy. Without donations, funding for cancer research projects takes a hit. The fewer cancer research projects, the longer it takes to find a cure. The house is located in Pelham, Alabama.
