On Monday January 25, 2010 Oak Mountain Lanes will be hosting a benefit for Pelham Police Officer Phillip Davis who recently lost his life in the line of duty. Current plans are for all bowling proceeds from 3pm until 8pm to be donated to the fund to retire the mortgage on his house.
3pm - 9pm Open Bowling $10.00 donation per person to bowl for one hour.
3pm - 8pm Pelham Fire Dept onsite with fire truck.
4pm - 8pm Texas Roadhouse & US Food Service onsite selling dinner plates.
We are asking people to come out and eat dinner. $5.00 per plate.
McAlister's Deli on site selling large tea. $2.00. Proceeds from each of these will be donated.
Home Depot may have a special set up outside which would be a lot of fun for adults.
3pm - 8pm Inflatable playhouse in parking lot. Donated by Alabama Rentals. $1.00 per child to enter.
7pm Bowling match challenge.
3pm - 8pm Silent auction.
Also, I am soliciting door prizes of any shape or size to be given during the event and am extending an invitation to any retail or service business who would like to set up in the bowling center and sell value cards, gift cards, or other redeemable merchandise. I only ask that you donate a portion of the proceeds to the fund raiser. I am also looking for some bigger items that can be sold during a silent auction.
Any questions please contact me.
