Pattin MacCrae Duo Piano Fundraiser

PATTIN-MACCRAE PIANO FUNDRAISER TO BE HELD AT UNIVERSITY OF MONTEVALLO
 
Montevallo, Ala. – Professor Emeritus Anthony Pattin and Music faculty member Cynthia MacCrae prove that great music is timeless.
 
The 2016 Pattin/MacCrae Duo Piano – Pattin Piano Fund Benefit will be held on Fri., March 11 at 7:30 p.m. in Lebaron Recital Hall.
 
The duo will perform a four-hand benefit piano recital, with proceeds going to the Dr. Anthony Pattin Steinway Endowment Fund, which will be used to repair, restore and maintain the 25 Steinway brand pianos in the Department of Music and to permanently name the class piano lab in Dr. Pattin’s honor.  
 
Works by Schumann, Rachmaninoff, Copland and Infante will be performed. A dessert and wine reception will follow in Reynolds Hall Foyer.
 
Tickets are $25 for adults, $15 for UM Faculty, Staff and senior citizens and $10 for students. Tickets may be purchased at the door, or online at Montevallo Tickets.
