Each year the Shelby County Arts Council features works of Local Artists as part of the Liberty Day Celebration held in Downtown Columbiana, Alabama. Mr. Max Newton and Mr. William "Bill" Dooley are this year's featured artists.The mission of the Shelby County Arts Council is to support, nurture, and promote the arts and cultural opportunities in Shelby County, Alabama. The Arts Council is fully incorporated as a functioning 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization.
