The Greater Shelby Chamber has been contacted by the Shelby County Advisory Board for The Salvation Army. There are more than 500 Shelby County children (with 100 on the waiting list) in the Angel Tree program. The board has asked us to participate in a countywide clothing drive to help these children. The Salvation Army may not be able to provide toys for all 600 children, but want to at least provide clothing for each child.

 

How can you help? Review the list below and join us in filling the clothing needs in Shelby County. We are asking the clothing be new, unwrapped, and dropped by the:

 

Infant Clothing for boys and girls: 3-6 months, 6-9 months, 9-12 months, 12-18 months, 18-24 months. We also need Diaper sizes 1, 2, 3, and mostly 4 & 5. Pull ups sizes 2T, 3T, and 4T.

Toddler Clothing for boys and girls 2T, 3T, 4T, and 5T. Clothing needed: Pants, Shirts, Sweaters, and Jackets.

 

Boys and Girls Clothing: 6, 6x, 7, 8, 10, 12, 14, and 16. We need ALL sizes but mostly 7-8 and 10-12 Sweaters-Jackets-Pants-Jeans-Long sleeved shirts and Tops.

We could also use underwear, socks and pajamas for all the above sizes.
