The Salvation Army Shelby County Red Kettle Season Needs Volunteers / Workers
The Salvation Army, Alabaster / Shelby County kicks off its Red Kettle campaign on Friday, November the 16th and runs through Christmas eve. Kettles are being manned from 9:00 am until 8:00 pm. The Salvation Army, Alabaster / Shelby County is seeking organizations (business, churches, and individuals) that would like to volunteer for shifts at various locations throughout the county. The Salvation Army will also accept those needing seasonal employment to man kettles with compensation to workers at $7.00 per hour and would prefer those workers dedicate at least 8 hours consecutively. Volunteers are asked to work shifts of at least 4 hours total, though not necessarily by themselves. In fact, they can join with friends and family members and work the period in shifts if they wish.
The Salvation Army, Alabaster / Shelby County has 20 locations to cover. This is an urgent request for churches, schools, businesses, and families to assist in this important endeavor.
