Partner with University of Montevallo Business Students for a Spring 2027 Consulting Project
Do you have a business challenge you haven't had time to tackle? Want fresh eyes and new ideas on a question your team keeps putting off? The University of Montevallo's College of Business is looking for local companies to participate in a consulting project during Spring 2027.
How it works
The consulting project is part of a senior-level business course that runs from January through May. Student teams will work with your company to explore a real business need and deliver a final product tailored to your goals. Students come from all business majors, so teams bring a mix of skills in accounting, data analytics, finance, general business, management, and marketing. Students also work with a faculty member who oversees the work and keeps students on track.
Why participate?
What do we expect from our business partners?
Participating companies should assign a contact person to the project. This person will serve as the students' main point of contact, share background on the business, and provide feedback throughout the semester.
Projects should be large enough to engage students over a semester and, ideally, involve several aspects of the business. Projects should be based on real business problems with the potential that student recommendations could be implemented.
