Ford Tri-Motor Aircraft Visit at Shelby County Airport
The National Experimental Aircraft Association in conjunction with the local Chapter 825 is bringing to the Shelby County Airport a 1929 Ford Tri-Motor airliner. It is the first airliner used in the US. It is the second time the Tri-Motor has been to Shelby County. Entrance to event and ground viewing of the plane are free. Rides in the plane are available for $75 for adult passenger seat, $50 for child (17 & under) passenger seat and $125 for the co-pilot seat. Plane can accommodate up to 10 passengers for each flight.
