Got Creek 5k ~presented by the Oak Mountain Runner's Club
Got Creek? 5K is not a typical 5K race; the surface is mostly grass, with some pavement trails. There is a creek to be crossed multiple times over the course. This event is hosted by Oak Mountain Runners Club in conjunction with the Oak Mountain High School Cross Country Invitational. The Oak Mountain High School annual cross country invitational will take place right after the 5k, so stick around and watch the action. Teams will be represented from across Birmingham and State of Alabama. OMRC is a 501-3c Alabama not for profit organization with race proceeds to benefit the Oak Mountain Schools running programs.
