SouthFirst Mortgage was established in 1994 as a residential construction lending office. It is a division of SouthFirst Bancshares Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of SouthFirst Bank , with offices in Sylacauga, Talladega, Clanton and Birmingham.

SouthFirst offers a wide range of loan products to suit the needs of various buyers. We have the flexibility of a portfolio lender (for a "common sense" loan file that is not quite Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac), and can offer a variety of product options and excellent rates to our Freddie Mac/Fannie Mae borrowers through many investors that we have correspondent relationships with. We also offer B and C paper investor products.
