Her vocal style inspired by jazz instrumentalists, pioneered a new way of manipulating phrasing and tempo. Dinah Washington self proclaimed "Queen of the Blues", her short life was a flurry of bad decisions and great musical talent. B.J. Reed sings the songs that made these two woman musical icons.
