From its humble beginnings in 1896, the University of Montevallo has become a leading institution of higher learning in the state and region and is nationally recognized as a model for quality and affordability in higher education.

Dr. Courtney Bentley, the University's Provost and xxxxxx, will be the featured speaker for the Chamber's March "Community Luncheon" scheduled for Wednesday, March 19. Dr. Bentley will provide an update on "Shelby County's University".

The cost for Chamber investors is $25 per person, and $35 per person for "Future" investors.  To assist with proper planning, reservations are requested by no later than Noon on Friday, March 14.
