Prayer in the Park Ministries School Supply Carnival

Kids will play FREE carnival games to win the supplies on their school supply list! Free popcorn, hotdogs and drinks will be provided. Join us as we praise God and pray for our children, teachers and school staff!

Calera First United Methodist Church is currently teaming up with Prayer in the Park Ministries in order to meet the needs of the Calera community.  Currently, we are working toward meeting the school supply needs within our community.  If you have ever registered a child for school or had to purchase a list of supplies, you can understand the anxiety and pressure a new school year can bring for those parents in need.  

Calera First has committed to making the following purchases for the Prayer in the Park Supply Carnival that will take place on August 11th at Oliver Park:
•    400 Fiskar Scissors
•    400 packs of white copy paper
•    400 flash drives
•    200 copies of The Outsiders
•    200 packs of five tab dividers

Please consider donating money or supplies to this outreach ministry.  Below are ways that you can help this school system that has over 50% free and reduced lunch students:
•    Donate a box of paper
•    Sponsor flash drives (put your logo on the flash drives, so that people will know you care about their needs)
•    Donate money toward the total amount to purchase
•    Donate a copy of The Outsiders (used or new)
