Please join the Alabama Firefighters Museum Foundation this Friday, September 27th, at 4:30PM for the first public unveiling of the plans for the Alabama Firefighters Museum & Education Center, coming soon to Central Alabama!

 

The evening open house will begin with a ribbon cutting for the inaugural Capital Campaign OFFICE at 5:15PM and will include an outdoor showcase of fire trucks and equipment, both old and new, offering fun and great photo opportunities for the whole family!

Video and visual productions illustrating what is designed for this $4.5 million project will spark excitement and understanding of the scope of this project, and opportunities to connect with the current Partners on this important project will be available. These Project Partners include Shelby County, the City of Calera, the Alabama Fire College, the Alabama Firefighters Museum Foundation, the Calera Chamber of Commerce, the Calera Industrial Development Board, members of the Alabama Bucket Brigade (a local chapter of the national SPAAMFAA organization), and Executive Director Lindsay Schluntz.
