Come see special guest Jerry Tracey, Alabama's 13 Chief Meteorologist at the Pelham Library on Saturday August 2nd at 2 pm. Mr. Tracey will give a review of the deadly April 27th tornado outbreak and just how unusual it was. He will discuss the ongoing effort to try to warn for every tornado, while limiting the "cry-wolf" syndrome that causes people to sometimes ignore warnings. He will also discuss severe weather safety at home and on the road.
