Wreaths Across America Ceremony to honor our fallen heroes.
Wreaths Across America is committed to remembering the fallen, to honoring those who are serving in uniform today and teaching younger generations about the value of their freedoms and the importance of honoring those who sacrificed so much to protect those freedoms. The Support Committee for the Alabama National Cemetery will present the short program on Dec. 12, before the laying of the wreaths. Family members of veterans buried in the cemetery will be led into the area by a bagpiper, to lay wreaths on their loved ones' graves. Then everyone else present (volunteers) will lay wreaths on the rest of the graves. There are almost 4000 graves now. Here's a short video clip from last year. http://wiat.com/2014/12/13/hundreds-honor-veterans-with-wreaths-across-america/
